Everyone - even on this side of the Atlantic - have their eyes on the US election. In the background though the economic picture is not pretty and none of the candidates appear to be speaking about the debt problems the USA are into. Consumer debt is really high at nearly 2 trillion dollars. The average american holds $9k in credit card debt alone.
Hopefully growth in the economy kicks in soon and jobs will be plenty enough for americans to lower that number. Praying that it does.
